St Mary's Bay is located on the south east Kent coast about 12 miles south of Folkestone on the A259. St Mary in the Marsh lies about 2 miles inland (west) of St Mary's Bay in the heart of Romney Marsh. By Car From the M20, at J10 Ashford, turn off onto the A2070. (right from London, left from Dover & Folkestone). Follow this road for about 1 mile and then turn off right, signposted Hamstreet and still the A2070. St Mary's Bay is on the 101 and 102 bus routes that run to Dover and Folkestone to the north and New Romney and Lydd-on-Sea in the south (see map of routes). The bus stops by the junction of Jefferstone Lane and the A259. For bus times, please go to the Stagecoach website. By Rail St Mary's Bay has a station on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR). Trains run to and from Dymchurch and Hythe to the north and New Romney and Dungeness to the south.
